Range Description:
It is known from the Nam Xam and Nam Ma basins in Lao PDR (Kottelat 2001), the Red River basin in northern Viet Nam (Kottelat 2001), and from southeastern China (Yunnan) (Chu and Chen 1989; Nguyen 2001), and the Pearl River system in China (Guangdong and Guangxi) and most likely northern Viet Nam (Chen et al. 1991), and from Hainan Province.
