Geographic Range [top]
Range Description: According to Fraser (1933) the type in the British Museum of Natural History is from Maymyo, upper Myanmar. Tsuada (2000) lists Coeliccia poungyi from Myanmar and Thailand. Hämäläinen and Pinratana (1999) provide a distribution map for poungyi in Thailand, where it is occurs throughout much of the montane districts of north Thailand. Sui and Sun (1984) recorded poungyi from Yunnan.
