Geographic Range [top]
Range Description: The species is only known from the Tanibar Islands (Southern Moluccas, Indonesia). It has been found on the main island (Jamdena) and on Larat Island. The species is known from three records. Its nearest relative, Agrionoptera insignis, is widespread and is not a habitat specialist. It is likely that the same is true for A. cynthiae and if so the species is probably not uncommon on the island.
