Range Description:
It is widely distributed in India and also found in Bangladesh (Silhet), Myanmar and Nepal. Phillips (1997) has not recorded the occurrence of this species in Sri Lanka. But Ansari and Balakrishnan (2009) reported its distribution in Sri Lanka, which is uncertain as he neither cited a specimen nor literature. There are no specific locatities for Nepal and Myanmar.
