Range Description: This species occurs from southern Thailand, south of the Isthmus of Kra to Sumatra and Borneo (David and Vogel 1996, Cox et al. 1998). It occurs at low elevations, from sea level to 1,000 m.

Habitat and Ecology: This arboreal and diurnal species occurs in primary and secondary rainforest from sea level to about 1,000 m elevation (Stuebing and Inger 1999). It also occurs in rubber plantations. It feeds on lizards and frogs and is ovoviviparous (David and Vogel 1996).
