Range Description: Garrulax nuchalis occupies a restircted range in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Nagaland, north-east India and northern Myanmar. There have been few recent records and its current status is poorly known, although this is at least in part because much of its range is infrequently visited by ornithologists.
