Geographic Range [top]
Range Description: This species is distributed from the Myanmar coasts, lakes, estuaries and lower parts of rivers (Ayeyarwaddy-Sittaung to Salween-Tennasserrim) to Ranong in Thailand. In Myanmar, it has been reported from the Pathein (Bassein) river, and as far upstream as Indawgyi Lake in the Ayeyarwaddy basin, and to Moulmein on the Salween, as well as the Tanintharyi (Tenasserim) River (Whitehead 1985).
