Range Description: The species is known from several mountain streams in eastern Thailand in the Pong River, in the upper Mun River drainage (part of the Mekong River system). It occurs in a tributary to the Huai Ka Mi River (type locality), in a stream near Ban Pha Nok Khao (Loei Province) and in the Pong River. The area of occupancy has not been calculated, but is inferred to be restricted.
