Range Description: This species is widespread from Myanmar, Thailand, southern Lao PDR, Cambodia and southern Viet Nam, Malaysia (Peninsula, Sabah and Sarawak), Singapore and Indonesia (Sumatra, Java, Kalimantan, Lombok, Riau Islands), to Brunei Darussalam. It has been introduced to locations in Indonesia (Sulawesi) and the Philippines. It occurs at elevations up to 1,200 m asl.
