Range Description: This species is considered endemic to Lao PDR. It is recorded from Somphamit and Phapheng falls, Muang Khong (type locality), Ban Na and Khone Island. Single island site with rapids upstream and downstream which maybe effected by proposed dam projects at Khone Falls.
