Range Description: Distribution is mainland southeast Asia: Cambodia, Lao PDR, Viet Nam (from the delta), and Thailand. Recorded from the Mekong, Chao Phraya, Mae Khlong and Tapi drainages. Type locality is 22 km upstream of Phnom Penh, Tonle Sap River, Kandal Province, Cambodia (and from Phnom Penh markets).
