Range Description: The species is recorded from Sri Lanka through India and Nepal to southern China (Anhui, Guangdong, Jiangxi,), Taiwan, Province of China, and south through Bangladesh in to Indochina and the Malay Peninsula (Philcox 1970, Yamazaki 1990, Cook 1996, Newman et al. 1970, Ahmed et al. 2009, eFloras 2011).
