Range Description: Lindernia viscosa is widely distributed in tropical Asia (Cambodia, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, India, Indonesia, Laos, Myanmar, New Guinea, Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam). In India, it is found in the states of Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Punjab, Rajasthan, Sikkim, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh Bihar, Goa, Meghalaya, Manipur, West Bengal (Cook 1996).
