Range Description: This species is found from Okinawa Island in the Ryukyu Islands off Japan (Komai et al. 2005); Taiwan; the South China Sea; Port Hedland in Western Australia (Holthuis 1991) and east coast Australia (Department of the Environment, Water, Heritage and Arts 2009).
