Range Description: This butterfly occurs widely in the Oriental Region, from India and Burma, through peninsula Malaysia, Sumatra, Java (Indonesia) and Borneo, to the Philippines (excluding Palawan), Sulawesi and the Moluccas, giving a very large extent of occurrence. This forest species can tolerate some disturbance and so there is considerable suitable habitat available across the region. Therefore the area of occupancy is certainly well in excess of the threshold for threatened species.
