Range Description: Opisthostoma thersites is only known from the limestone karst at Bukit Panching, Pahang, Peninsular Malaysia (Maassen 2001). It occurs in an area with an extremely small possible area of occupancy, however the site has recently been quarried away, and hence it is possible that the species is no longer extant.
