Range Description: This species is known from Dawei (Tavoy), Myanmar (type locality) and also in several provinces of western and southern Thailand (Phetchaburi (Kaeng Krachan National Park), Kanchanaburi (e.g., in the Khwae Noi River), Ranong, Nakhon Si Thammarat and Chumphon) (Brandt 1974). It is likely to have a wide distribution within the known range within Thailand.
