Geographic Range [top]
Range Description: This species is only known from a few collections from Khao Chim and Ban Tham in Thung Son district of Nakhon Si Thammarat Province and also in Rasada district in Trang Province. The area of occupancy is 12 km² (three 2x2 km² grids) and the extent of occurrence is less than 100 km² (approximately 40 km²). Recorded from an altitude of 140 m.

Habitat and Ecology: This species grows on karst limestone in deep shade. The recent collection at Ban Tham is not in a protected area. None of the localities are in protected areas.

Major Threat(s): Deforestation for agriculture and urban development can lead to changes in the local microclimate. One of the subpopulations is located next to a road, leading to change in the microclimate. None of the area is protected and cement factories might be a future potential threat.
