Range Description: Parreysia mandelayensis is reported from Bhamo, Sheinmagah, Myadong and Pegu (Bago) in Myanmar (Subba Rao 1989) in the Irrawaddy and Sittaung river basins. Based on the locality records for this species it is inferred to be widely distributed from the northern parts of Myanmar (Bhamo) to the southern end (Bago).
