It is recorded from a few places in Myanmar: Arakan, Mandalay, Pegu, Houngdaran, and Tavoy (Preston 1915) in the Chindwin, Irrawaddy and Sittang river basins. There is also a record from Bombay (Mumbai) (GBIF; National Museum of Natural History, USA), but this record require verification.
