Range Description: The species is recorded from northern India (Khasia Hills and Garo Hills (Meghalaya, Assam, and Orissa (Sambalpur)), Bangladesh (Chittagong) (Bhatti and Ingrouille 2007) from Myanmar, and also from southern India (Kerala (Malabar, Godavari District). In eastern Bangladesh it grows on sandy soils (Khanam et al. 2003, Bhatti and Ingrouille 2007).
