Range Description:
P. pusillus has an almost cosmopolitan distribution, from Europe through Russia east to eastern Russia, Japan and the Korean Peninsula, south through the Ryukyu Islands to Papua New Guinea, through Africa north and south of the Sahara and more or less throughout the Americas. The only places where it is absent are Australia, New Zealand and islands in the Pacific and Indian Oceans.
