Range Description: The sepcies occurs from China (Fujian, Guizhou, Taiwan, Yunnan, Zhejiang), Japan and the Korean Peninsula south through Taiwan and Indonesia to Papua New Guinea (Sun and Simpson 2010); it has been reported from India and Myanmar (eFlora 2011, NMNH 2011), but is not listed by Cook (1996) or Kress et al. (2003).
