Range Description: S. hypomelas is found in eastern India, Nepal, Tibet, Myanmar, Bangladesh and China. In eastern India, it is reported from Bihar, Bengal, Sikkim, Assam, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Manipur and Arunachal Pradesh.
