Conservation Actions: No species specific conservation measures are in place for this species and most records fall outside protected areas. It was not found in available lists of seed bank or botanic garden species. A specimen has been recorded from what is now the the Phu Kradung National Park area in Thailand, however, most records fall outside protected areas. The distribution of this species appears disjunct and further research into the taxonomy, population numbers and range is recommended.
