Range Description: Tetraodon cutcutia is present in India (Meghalaya, Khasi hills (Shella), Jaintia Hills (Dawki, Muktapur), Garo Hills (Baghmara, Phulbari, Mahadev, Tura); Assam, West Bengal, Bihar, Manipur, Orissa; Arunanchal Pradesh. Elsewhere it is present in Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Myanmar.
