Geographic Range [top]
Range Description: This species is found in Phangnga province (Tham Pha Phueng, Muang Phangnga district) and in Nakhon Si Thammarat province, Thailand. Two sites are known. The area in Phangnga is less than 4 km² but the area of the site in Nakhon Si Thammmarat is not known. The area of occupancy is thought to be less than 500 km². It occurs at an altitude of about 75 m.

Population: At Phangnga, there are fewer than 200 mature individuals. The population is thought to be declining at that locality.

Habitat and Ecology: This species is found on lowland forest growing on limestone derived soil (it does not occur on the limestone cliffs).

Major Threat(s): At the site in Phangnga, there is a temple and the construction of tracks is a threat to the habitat. Trampling by tourists is another threat.
