Range Description: This species occurs in Peninsular Malaysia and Thailand, as well as Sumatra, Borneo and the Lingga Archipelago. The extent of occurrence and the area of occupancy are in excess of 20,000 and 2,000 km2 respectively.

Habitat and Ecology [top]
Habitat and Ecology: The species inhabits primary and secondary rainforest where it is difficult to observe, adults tending to spend much time in deep undergrowth. However, males are active hilltoppers and compete with males of other lycaenids for favoured territory. Nothing is known of the early stages of this species.
