Range Description: Recorded from small limestone outcrops near Kudat and Banggi Island, Sabah, Malaysia (a 20 x 60 km area). Currently only known from a small limestone crest at the southern tip of Banggi.

Population: The morphologically distinct subpopulation near Kudat went extinct in the 1980s due to quarrying activities.

Habitat and Ecology: Occurs in lowland tropical Dipterocarp rainforest on limestone.

Major Threat(s): Quarrying has removed one subpopulation. The remaining subpopulation is in an area that is prone to logging and plantations, which cause drying out of the vegetation, resulting in a decline in the Prosobranch populations.
