Range Description: The species has been recorded from Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Singapore and through most of Australia, it is considered likely to occur in India (Cook 1996), however only one record (from Kolkata) is known (Flora of Pakistan, eFloras 2011) and is present in Thailand (Landolt 2001).
