Usually found as single plants, but rarely forming large clumps. This trade may not threaten the species in the wild as it can be easily propagated by rhizomes. Threats [top] Major Threat(s): At Dray Sap waterfall, the type locality of this species, the habitat was impacted by the construction of a dam for hydro-power (H.D. Tran pers.obs. 2011). That site is now visited by tourists who cause further habitat disturbance. Agricultural activity and small-scale logging are also resulting in ongoing habitat loss and disturbance.
