Range Description: Assiminea microsculpta is present in India (24 Paraganas, Port Canning, Kolkata, and the Andaman Islands), Thailand, Indonesia (Sumatra, Java) and Malaysia Sematan (Sarawak) (Subba Rao 1989; Brandt 1974; Nevill 1884). It probably also occurs in brackish waters of Bangladesh and Myanmar.
