Range Description: The species occurs from south of the Isthmus of Kra in Thailand to Sundaland (Smith 1930, Taylor 1965, David and Vogel 1996). A report from Lao PDR (David and Vogel 1996) is likely to be in error. It occurs at elevations up to 650 m in Peninsular Malaysia.
