Range Description: The species is restricted to Peninsular Thailand where it has only been collected from river systems draining the western coastline in the provinces of Ranong, Phang Nga, Phuket, Krabi, Trang and Satun (Kullander and Britz 2002; Seriously Fish 2011), including Phuket Island (Ruber et al. 2004). Presence can be expected in adjacent parts of coastal drainages in Myanmar.
