Range Description: The species occurs in south and southeast Asia, from northeastern India through Bangladesh and Myanmar east to the Philippines and south through Peninsular Malaysia to Indonesia. It is recorded from southern China (Hong et al. 1998, Kress et al. 2003, Nguyen et al. 2005, Newman et al. 2007, Ahmed et al. 2009, Kwek et al. 2009, eFloras 2011).
