Geographic Range [top]
Range Description: This species is endemic to the Philippines, where it has been recorded from the islands of Samar, Leyte, Tintiman, Tilmubo, Lapinig Chico and Lapinig Grande, as well as from southeastern Luzon. There are additional recent records from Bohol, and from northeast Mindanao (Diwata Mountains). It ranges from about 100 to 850 m asl.

Habitat and Ecology: Animals are associated with humus, leaf litter, rotten logs and similar ground cover in tropical moist forests. It can be found in both primary and secondary forest, but is not present in coastal areas or cultivated land.
