Range Description: This species has been recorded from numerous locations (at least 21 records) throughout Borneo (Stuebing 1991), predominantly from mountains up to 1,500 m asl, but also from lowlands. It occurs in all political territories on the island. It has been recorded from secondary and primary forest and found in two protected areas in Sabah. In Brunei it is also in a protected area.
