Some forest loss is occurring but not enough to list as even Near Threatened. RANGE DESCRIPTION This species is found in north east Borneo at middle elevations (Payne et al. 1985). DESCRIPTION The population appears to be stable. HABITAT AND ECOLOGY It appears to be restricted to lower montane forest and to upper dipterocarp forest. It is active in small and medium-sized trees, feeding on fruits and black ants. THREATS There are no major threats to this species. CONSERVATION ACTIONS It is not known if the species is present in any protected areas. Further studies are needed into the distribution, abundance, reproduction and ecology of this species. |
