E-Library

The ACB E-Library functions as an online resource on biodiversity information. As one of the knowledge management resource services of ACB’s ASEAN Clearing House Mechanism, the E-Library provides a compilation of biodiversity-related references of the various thematic areas of the Convention on Biological Diversity. These areas of concerns include invasive alien species, climate change, protected area management, regional initiatives, access and benefit sharing, and urban biodiversity, among others.

The E-Library is a very helpful tool for researchers, students, policy makers, entrepreneurs, non-government organizations, conservation managers, as well as for academics and environment information officers. The E- Library is a very accessible resource of up-to-date materials on governance, law enforcement and gap assessments of protected area networks; status of endangered species, ecosystems protected areas and climate change; and insights on ecotourism and community-based approaches in natural resource management. This is also a valuable tool to help create greater awareness to the general public of the need to conserve biodiversity in the region. This facility has pdf format files available for download by the users, or source URL that leads to reference materials that are restricted from public viewing.
